Ion / IonXE software

Hello,

I am late to the software update game.   In one theater have an IonXE as primary and Ion as back up, the other theater has an RPU as primary, an Eos  in the booth and an Ion as backup/ client console.   What are my options so that the XE keeps talking to the Ion once software 2.9 is surpassed?

    I moved this to the Eos forums, as it seems like an appropriate venue.

    If your Ion has two Network ports at the back it's already Win 7 background and can continue to update.  If not, you are going to want to contact your favorite ETC dealer to set up to have the hardware upgraded.

    As for the Eos Classic, unfortunately there is no way to continue updating that software forward to v3.0
