At the school I teach at I have a hard time getting the students to remember to power down the moving lights...heck, even I forget sometimes!  Have any of you in academia come up with a way to remind students to do this.  The only thing I do is tape a note to the monitor.  What I'd *like* to do is when a particular cue (in this case the last cue of a show) is run, a window pops up with a "post show" checklist...anything to use as a reminder.  This could possibly be useful for a pre-show list as well!

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

  • Ouch. I'm afraid a pop-up 'post-show' checklist would be really annoying for everyone else.

In Congo I generally put a big note in the last cue - on Eos, I would suggest using the label of the last cue.

You could also use a mallet which is more fun, but more likely to cause other issues!
