What makes a snapshot remember LIVE BLIND status?

The easiest solution is likely to re-record the snapshot or pull it from a previous save if you haven't made other updates to it. It's possible that it simply got buggered up in the ways of programming somewhere along the way.

Depending on what your snapshot does and which frame has focus you might have a conflict. Record it again and you should be good to go.

I update the snapshot frequently.  It has worked in the past that it remembers the LIVE-BLIND status, but somewhere along the line it lost that memory.  It's an annoyance since my procedure usually is:

Snapshot 1 [Enter]    ' Oops it didn't go LIVE

[LIVE]  ' Oops it clobbered my screens bringing PSD to foreground instead of Magic Sheet

Snapshot 1 [Enter]  ' There, that's what I wanted to begin with, that used to work, but stopped for some reason

if psd comes to the front instead of magic sheet when you're pressing Live, you have the wrong setting in your magic sheet. set it to be a channel display rather than default behaviour. this setting can be found in the settings section (gears) of the edit toolbar.

Unfortunately it will do what you program it to do. Without seeing it, it sounds like there is a blind tab in a frame with focus that can only be open in blind that is preventing your live blind switch. ie patch, an edit page for subs/pallets/presets, I would suspect that there is a frame in focus that is forcing you into blind.

Unfortunately, 4 years later, exactly this behaviour is still the standard on Nomad. Or what am I missing.
It doesn't matter from what blinded tab I come (park tab, groups etc) and to what live tab I want to go (via a snapshot), I always have this annoying procedure Rick described.

How can I make a snap remember the LIVE state??

Not 100% shure.
But do you change from BLIND to LIVE to Tombestone Tab 1.?
And not to Tombstone Tab1.1?

Though, in my case when pressing LIVE it goes to tab "1 Live Table".
But I don't want to have to press LIVE at all, as the snap is a Live snap..
