Is there a cunning way to select channels in a sub to do something with (eg make into a group) without having to look in the sub page, write down the numbers and then record them as a group?
Thankyou.

Sounds like you're looking for the aptly named 'Group Sub' function.
If you were to type Group Sub 1 Enter you would select all the channels recorded in that sub. To record a group of all the channels in the sub you can use the syntax: Group Sub x Record Group y.
Alternatively, hit the button beneath the fader of the sub you are working with and you will see Group Sub x appear on the command line. (which of course means you may not even need to make a group for those channels)
