EOS update application error

I am currently trying to update an original element from Eos 2.7 to 2.9

I get the error in the picture attached. Anyone any ideas?

Hey Mike! At what point did this error pop up? Immediately after launching the installer? Or later in the install process?

Hi Jake It comes up as soon as I launch the installer and sends me back to the startup menu
