I've submitted this as [EOS-43096] Can't assign targeted macro to a device whose name starts with a minus or other parser command. It appears that if the Device Name of a console matches a console command, you cannot assign it to a macro target. e.g., Naming a console "Sneak" will result in the same syntax error when attempting to assign it to a macro target.

As a workaround, you can do eg.
Macro 1 {Target} {Device} and type in the name 'Preview'.
This would have to be done for every Macro you're targeting though. Definitely a drag.
