Ion dongle

Hey guys,

So I used the dongle for the first time [we got it when we got our Ion console about a year ago] and found out that it wasn't working friendly with my mac laptop. I assume that because the console itself is windows based that the dongle must be exclusive to windows.

Is there a newer version or different version of the dongle that is mac friendly?? I'm just curious. GREAT WORK by the way!

Hello

yesterday i used the dongle on a borrowed laptop- no problemo
this morning i tried it on my own laptop- it still sees it as a mirror. and the dongle is plugged in...

Any thoughts anyone?

The dongle will work on a mac with the next release of software. In 1.8.2 a mac can only be a miror device. There should be a post on the forums when this happens.

if you go into Windows - Hardware Explorer - if you see a question mark, by a USB device, then

you will need to get an updated driver for your dongle to work on your laptop. Best is to visit the

HASP website and download the latest driver for the dongle type that is written on your dongle.
