Ion Training in Seattle!

The ETC Education Center is pleased to announce another exciting training opportunity for our customers, this time in the Seattle area. 

Ion Foundations: An Introduction to Ion Programming
April 27: 9:00 – 4:00

This class is perfect for beginning Ion end users! Anyone transitioning to Ion from another board, considering a purchase of an Ion, or who already owns one and is unsure of where to start, will benefit from this class. Some of the topics covered: patching conventional fixtures, working with channels in Live mode, setting channels to levels, recording and playing a basic cue, recording to submasters, recording groups, creating step effects and more.


Intermediate Ion Programming
April 28: 9:00 – 4:00

An ideal choice for Ion users who would like to better understand the console’s capabilities and take their programming skills to the next level! Course topics: working with channels in Blind mode, patching moving lights and multi-parameter fixtures, recording and recalling palettes and presets, using the color picker, using filters when recording cues, modifying cues in Live and Blind modes, setting cue timing and attributes, using custom settings on submasters, and creating relative and absolute effects.

These sessions will be held at the Doubletree Seattle Airport Hotel.  Both of sessions are limited to 20 participants, and there is a $50.00 registration fee for each.
