ION XE remote network startup

Has this console been part of the multiconsole system you are using to power it on before?  
What is it's role in said multiconsole system?

This desk is the console in the Booth runs as Backup in a system with ION XE RPU as Master and another XE 20 as Client along with a few pucks playing Client as well 

is the console that doesn't respond to Remote Startup connected to the network through network port 1 or port 2?

I'm in the same boat. Trying to modify my network setup. Ion XE and ION legacy (upgraded), the XE will power on and power off the legacy, the legacy will not power on the XE, it will power it down.
Connected through network port 1 on the XE.

Typically the XE is primary and the legacy is back-up, however we are working on implementing Midi and since the legacy has midi native built in, why not use it. So we are trying to make the legacy primary and XE back-up, hence the reversed power on method.
