Hi all, anyone had any experiences of working remotely on with ETC EOS? In sense that we could remote into a desk or nomad from home? We looking to do this but with multiple clients? Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Hi all,

Has anyone had any experiences of working remotely on with ETC EOS?

In sense that we could remote into a desk or nomad from home? We looking to do this but with multiple clients? So essentially could have someone programming remotely from nomad and then an LD as a client too. Is this possible?

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

  • While technically possible it is strongly discouraged. The consoles have no anti-virus or other security and are not intended to ever be connected to the internet. Controlling lights you can't see is fraught with problems.

I would suggest emailing a show file for the client to upload. The use of a visualizer makes this a fairly straight forward project, but nothing will replace setting levels and timing in the venue.
