CIA Lockout Option

I load Direct Selects into the CIA. I also load them at the bottom of the live screen. Total of 80. After I do a save from the CIA displays it would be cool if those Direct Selects would automatically reload, or auto hide the CIA. The real nuisance is after I reopen the DS and touch any one of them, the CIA automatically pops up. I then have to through the process to open the DS again. This is every time!

Can you make a snapshot and recall that?

I didn't think ION could do snapshots. Besides, the syntax for a snapshot recall vs. scrolling down the displays list and choosing Virtual Controls / Direct Selects / Open in CIA seems about the same.

Yeah they have elected to take snapshot functions away form the ION. The comand can still be put into a macro. But I have not had any luck recording and recalling snapshots on the ION with macros :( and it is one feature that the EOS has that I really wish the ION had as well.
