Controlling a console from another state.

Hello all, 

 Ok so here is the break down I want to be able to control an ION XE in a theater in Montana. I would be in Florida. I have the nomad software and student key. How would I go about setting up something to be able to control the board from my end. I would have a live video signal that would help me view the stage while I need to work. 

If anyone can help me, that would be greatly appreciated!

    not that i have tried that, but i think you would want a computer with a nomad key next to the console in montana. that computer would be client to your Xe. from florida you would use a VPN to control the client in montana.

    you wouldn't want to have a connection Nomad - Internet - Console, that wouldn't work because of latency. but Computer - VPN(Internet) - Nomad - Xe could work.
