Using Slash on Swiss-Qwerty-Keyboard without Numpad

I have been using a keypadless keyboard a lot lately for programming or testing features, which works great. But when I need to use the /-Slash sign, i always need to use the on screen keyboard because I can not use normal keyboard. I use a Swiss Layout, where i need to use Shift-7 for /, but instead of a slash, Brackets/Braces ( appear on the commandline. Have not found any other posts mentioning this, might also be keyboardlayout specific issue. US-Qwerty Keyboards dont require a modifier for /-Slash.

Has anybody figured this out or is this a bug?

Cheers Benjamin

Example when trying to select existing Cuelist 2 with command Cue 2 /

Using 3.0 in example but problem always existed in 2.9

  • In Setup>Device>Facepanel>Input do you have Use Shift as Eos Shift set in setup? You should have it disabled on a Swiss keyboard.

  • Ciao Ueli,

actually i just came back to add about that myself.

Yes this helps with using / but strips me off all "eos shift" shortcuts which is even a bigger bummer.
