Shutter Strobe?

I built two profiles for a couple of MLs. When I put up the intensity both go into a strobe mode according to what I see in Augment3d. 
 Operating the control in the ML panel only changes the rate of the strobe but even though both lamps have no strobe at zero this doesn't work. 
 So I made copies of the profiles deleted the Shutter Strobe parameter and replaced it with a simple User1 (in both case) 
 This stopped the unwanted strobing though my User1 would not allow strobing! I've seen elsewhere that parameters like Shutter Strobe may do 'other things' whatever that means. 
 I ran both in a simple QLCPlus + ENTEC Usb/DMX dongle at home and changed the Shutter channels manually. They behaved as they should. I.E at 0 there was no strobe but from 1 - 255 there was a strobe and its rate changed.

Try updating the fixture profiles (patch>fixtures[SK5]>select fixture>update profile). Apparently some of the old profiles had to be changed to work with Augment3d. I cannot take credit for this, i found it on a different unrelated thread but it seems to work for this problem as well.
