actually your second syntax doesn't only record the masters, it records the full channel.

Chan 1: all of it
Chan 1.0: master
Chan 1 Shift+. : master
Chan 1. : cells only

Hey, thanks for your quick reply! That is correct, the master and the cells are selected. If I now enter @ full in the command line, only the master is set to 100% and the cells remain off. Is it possible to set the cells @ full including the master

my guess is you probably want to have cell intens at full all the time, at least as default. fading master intens and cell intens to full at the same time produces a square dimmer curve that you probably don't want.

you can set the default for the cells either in a home preset or in the fixture editor by activating the setting Mastered Cells for that fixture type.

I have already set the home value of the cells to full in the editor. but if the cells are always full and only the master specifies the brightness, the AutoMark does not work properly.

as an an example: Cue time = 5 seconds

Chan 1.1 thru 3.4 are full and red in cue 1

Chan 1.1 thru 3.4 @ out, but cells stay @ full in cue 2.

In cue 3 all cells change color to blue and the master goes to full.
In cue 3, all cells change color in 5 seconds.
if the cells in cue 2 are also set to 0, the auto mark function in cue 2 would have changed the color of the cells to blue.

i assume this is a typo? from the context of your reply this should say "Chan 1 Thru 3 Out", correct?

which software version are you using?

ah, did you use the Mastered Cells option i proposed or did you set manually change cell intensity's home to full?

Chan 1 thru 3 out is right, but the cells are still 100%.

 software version are 2.9.1

automark works fine with cells, provided you have used the mastered cell setting...
