Following a straight line

Question

I'm trying to follow and actor with a ML. A cue was set when she was down stage left and another when she moved diagonally to up stage right. 
 When the 2nd cue is evoked it doesn't go in a straight line between the two points! It forms a sort or arc. I think this is something to do with the Pan and Tilt moving at the same time. How does one get a ML to move in a straight line?

If you store both ends of the line as XYZ formatted palettes the lights will move in a straight line.

open the Encoder Display (hotkey Ctrl Alt \ ) and in the Focus category click XYZ Format Enable

to get the straight line, the target cue needs to be stored in the XYZ format.
