Pixel Mapping installer fails on Windows 10

I tried running it on another computer and I'm getting a different access denied issue.

Have you tried:

1. Right-Click on the installer and choose "Run As Administrator"
2. Acknowledge the elevated access request and follow the installer prompts as normal

I just tried that and it doesn't work.

Do you have read/write access to the media archive folder on that machine?  Typically C:\Users\<username>\Documents\ETC\Eos\MediaArchive\

Yes I do. In fact, I can add files to that folder using Windows Explorer, which I have been doing as a workaround.

Have you made sure that nothing is using the file for which you are getting an access denied error when you run the installer? (Making sure it's not open in an editor or viewer, Eos isn't running, and no other program is trying to access it)

I tried it again with nothing else running and the same thing happened.

If you:

1. Right-click the folder
2. Select Properties
3. Switch to the Security tab
4. Click on the user that you are using to install the software

Do you see that you have access in a manner like this?
