Mirror live Eos screen to Internet Zoom class?

Hi,

Since the Etc network must remain only on the Lan, is there a way to show the screens hot on a Zoom screen share?  I can share a show and screen from a discrete session, but the idea is to show live screens controlling the system.  A Zoom camera on an EOS screen or keys is unacceptable.  Lesson learned.

Ok, so if the Zoom computer was also the live controller this could work, but only with USB to DMX live control, not network control, otherwise the Zoom is lost.  i doubt a split network would work, ie Eos lan wired, Zoom wireless, or reverse.

Thought about an NDI screen capture through OBS or such, but the output seems all wrong, Zoom + Eos screens to Youtube or Vimeo?  Maybe, but the the delay might kill the class.

Your thoughts?

  • Use a console with an hdmi adapter connected to a capture card. There is plenty out there (I.e. elgato ) It might be worth taking one with hdmi through to hook up a Monitor as well.

The capture card is connected to a computer pretending a webcam feed. So you can use it in any webinar or meeting software.

And so there is no internet in your lighting system...

There is so also some nice stuff from black magic like the Atem mini. You could hook up to four hdmi devices to switch between your EOS and a camera or do picture in picture views.
