Recently got the opportunity to enter a community theatre during this extended dark time, and they are allowing me to update their ion and patch files.I'm aware that this Ion won't be able to run 3.0. They are currently running 1.9 on their Ion, but should there be any issue updating straight to 2.9? I'm going to make sure update/patch notes are printed and available, as well as shows being backed up, but most of the shows that they run on their Ion are run from a simple rep file that we are going to re-patch. If all of this information is backed up in another location, would there be any other problems with updating straight to 2.9?
