How to control cue playback rate with osc

A fader (Masterfader or a regular fader) can be mapped as a Quelist (Tab36)

You than can make that fader to span  over 1,2 or 3 units.
Afterwards you can make one to be a Rate Master.

If you happen to place a Cuelist on Sub1 Page1, you can than talk via OSC to that fader.
It is adressed by Sub and Page.

If i recall correctly, the Master Fader Pair is on Page 100

Hi Mathilda, thanks for your answer. I think I can achieve to do what you describe with a fader configured in Global FX too. But the problem is that it is an "absolute" way of controlling the rate and sieze of FXs because it always depend on the value (position) of the fader.
What I'm searching to do is a more "relative" behaviour where the controller (fader, encoder or else) could modify the actual state of the FX in a cue.The encoders "speed" and "size" in the CIA when you push [Effect] with an empty command line seems to be the solution, but I can't find a way to control them in OSC, neither step by step (+% and -% for example) from the laptop.

I'm really sorry I just realize that the topic of this thread is cue rate and not FX rate ! I would like to control FX rate ! But it's good to know how to control cue rate too !

Global FX Fader are mapped to a specific Fader.

You can call them via OSC by Page No. and Fader No.

If you like to control a Fader with Nomad, open Tab28, the Fader Tab and do it manualy.

And finaly the CIA-version.
If you use the mouse or the Softkeys, you can do some magic and bring the desired parameter in the Commandline and give commands there. Like {Rate} [250]

Global FX faders control the effects in an absolute way, not relative of the FX values recorded in a cue for example.
Modifying the values of an FX in the CIA with the mouse and/or the command line is possible indeed but not in a smooth way with Nomad since  we can access to the encoders.

The global Fx rate is a multiplier for your running Fx. So I think it is pretty much relative. 100 would be the rate you’ve recorded it. Above is faster and below is slower. 

Yo can put the faders on a magic sheet and then drag their slider with the mouse to change the value smoothly
