My school has a very early ion manufactured in 2000 I think as that's the earliest dated show file on the console with a 2x20 fader wing attached. It was brought to my attention a couple of months ago that the board has crashed at least 5 times a show causing everything to just die which was a major problem. Then I show up 3 years late after the problem started and I tell them about the upgrade program for the ion. They are all in! Now I just realized that the fader wing has to be upgraded if we want to dock it to the console. How much does this add to the cost typically?
