How do I save my screen layouts when Upgrading?

Hi All,

I've wondered this for a while now. Every time I upgrade my ION to a new software version it wipes out my window and PSD column layouts. Is there a way to restore or recall these settings after an upgrade?

you store a snapshot in a showfile. you should also do this even when not upgrading. the console is usually so nice not to mangle your layout too much, but you're relying on something that's not stored…
