Should we be seeing any news today Anne? I'm installing an Ion in its new home and setting it up early next week so having the update would be great....plus I'm super excited for the update on my heavily used Eos!
Hi guys. Sorry, I'm going to need to ask you all to stand down. I think I've mentioned elsewhere that the primary delays in 1.5 were driven by of RDM device discovery and monitoring, as well as dimmer feedback, which exposed some issues in streaming ACN. While we were working through these, the team was not able to move forward and finish Element. Is it critical that we get Element into the field. SO, we are retasking the developers to work on Element. They will return to what is currently described as 1.5 as soon as possible.
Please note that the release monikers may change. Element may become the 1.5 release and what was 1.5 for Eos/Ion may become 1.6. Until Element is in beta (which is just starting), I can't give you any hard dates for the Eos/ion release. Both software versions are very close .... but in the interest of running out of clowns and beer.... we really can't commit to a hard date yet.
Thank you all of your patience (and I hope) your understanding. No one wants to get 1.5 out more than we do!! Unexpected convergence!
