How About the Mouse in Patch

So I can't for the life of me figure out why the mouse/touch screen controls are not implemented in patch on the ion (excluding the use of the CIA to pick type, options, etc - I'm talking about the channel/address screen). Why can't I, for instance, select part 2 of channel 60 with my mouse or finger and then type in @278 or something? It seems inconsistent with the rest of the EOS/ION design philosophy. A lot of times, using the face panel is perfectly fine in patch, but often I'll click on a channel in patch by accident because it seems like it SHOULD work, and I know many of my colleagues do the exact same thing. Thoughts? Reasoning?

ditto for spreadsheet

when im using this im hunting for a level and would like to be able to click on it then make a change

i understand the keystroke logic but in a WYSIWYG world the mouse actually makes sense in these windows - or at least the arrow keys

It doesn't answer to the mouse question, but you can use the arrow keys if you go into Cell-Editing mode first by hitting the [Select] key. Use the [Escape] key to exit this mode.

What you are describing is "in-cell editing." This is a feature that we are implementing, it is partially implemented in 1.5, and we will continue adding to the functionality in each upcoming release.
