internal clock vs internal timecode vs cue follow/hang vs FX time

Hello everybody,

i was playing around while wrapping my head around a play that is upcoming.

The Play most likely has time as it's center piece.

So i thought to have in some parts the seconds visualized.

there are some ideas i had.

First:

run a Cuelist with 10steps, time 0 follow or hang 1

Second:

do an Effect over a group.

-> absolute, 1 dwell for the high-part, 0 dwell for the low part, no fade, make the effect run in solo.

both run realy well.

But now i trow a internal timecode in the ring. running on 30Fps

the Timecode is triggering the FX and afterward the Cuelist.

For about a minute or so both ways seem to be in sync with each other and the internal clock (running so nice and calm on the uper right hand side of every window)

But time is passing by and the cuelist is kind of behind the FX and the TimeCode.

Why? That makes my question if the Cuetiming is realy reliable. I know, this sound bad, but for sure.

If i have a 10minute sunrise running in Cue x... is the sunrise realy 10minutes?

OR, the timecode and the internal clock is running faster.

But running faster would make me decrease my internal clock every now and then. But i alway have to increase the time of the Clock... (Like a lot of us?!?)

Find a showfile added. I made a magicsheet to see things better.
