Power ON, Power OFF?? button

I know this has been back and forth over the years, but is the Power On button on the face panel suppose to also be able to turn OFF the Ion? or is the only OFF functionality through the Browser/CIA?

Trying to keep up with the changes.

XP based consoles could turn off from the power button. Win7 devices couldn't. Gio@5 was the first that could turn off again from the power button.

ION Xe and ION Xe 20 will turn off from the power button too (I suppose any console released after the Geo@5)
