data print pages

i think i know the answer to this question as well.  but i'll give it a shot.

with the ion and vl1000's.  are you able to print data pages for each fixture for each cue showing every parameter?

thought it was worth a shot.  it would help the ald that's tracking the fixtures manually.

    Hi.

    Stupid me has some more questions about that.

    1. When I print Presets the PDF show me which parameters included but there´s no value shown. It shows only a cross.

    Did I do something wrong? Is there a way to get the DMX-Data shown?

     2. Is there a way that when a Cue ends the next one won´t begin directly above but on the next page? And maybe an Information on the top of the page in which cue you are? If you have Cues which spread out over 4 or 5 pages it can be hard to find what you´re looking for.

    3. Do I say in the shell if I want to print as .pdf or .csv? Right now I´m not in front of a console and have only the offline shell in front of me but if I go to setup there I can´t find any printer setup.

     

    Thanks for any help (Preset Data is the most important to me)

    Hello there,

    A few thoughts on your questions above:

    1. You need to disable the "Summary View" option in the Print dialog:

    This will let all the non-intensity data be printed out in the pdf.

    2. I'm not sure if this is possible -- will need to check. 

    3. Printing is always done to .pdf.  Print setup is done in Setup -> Desk Settings in the console software, not in the shell.  To get a .csv file, you'd want to select that option from the Export menu under File.

    Thank you so much!

     

    So easy to do and so hard for me to find. In my German-Version the Summary View is called "Übersicht" and I thought there I would decide if I get these Hyperlinks on the first Page which make it able to jump to a specific part of the pdf.

    Anyway, thanks a lot for that quick reply.

    Maybe we should change the German translation for "Summary View" from "Übersicht" to "Zusammenfassung" or "Kurzfassung"?

    Maybe other German operators don´t have problems with that but it sound´s good to me.

    I like "Kurzfassung" better then "Zusammenfassung".

    Or maybe something like "kompakte Ansicht"...???
