File manager not working

Question

Hi all, 
 
 Wanted to copy some files from the gio internal drive to an external HD by using the file manager. 
 In the file manager all folders have 0kb. When trying to copy those to the external device I get any error aswel. 
 Anyone knows what's going on?

Select a file by clicking it. Select a second file while keeping Shift pressed, this will add the whole range to the selection. If you keep Ctrl pressed while clicking the second file it will add this file to the selection.
