Ion Handles

Hello

On an Ion fader wing is it possible to use the faders similar to handles like on an avolights desk to control moving lights?

Many Thanks

Aiden

  • Hello Aiden-

I program on a Pearl all the time, and the simple answer is "no" right now. Soon you will be able to run effects on the faders similar to Avo, but a fairly quick workaround is that you can have multiple cue stacks programmed into multiple faders. Each one of these stacks or lists can be assigned to a handle or submaster. You would just program the effect and record cue 2/1 for example. Then you could tell the handle to be that particular playback, and there you go. Rinse, repeat and you have a show. I hope this helps. I can elaborate further if any of this is confusing. As with any console, the syntax is different than Avo.
