Hello fellow geeks,
i'd like to share some stuff with you.
I am sitting on a EOS-system without a faderwing. But i will make me one : D
Aaaand... i do have a 4-Port gateway, and a 12Ch Desk and a 24Ch 'Desk' (Showtec/Stairville/... anything will do).
1. Make a Port on the Gateway an Input.
2. Go to Tab11(Showcontroll) and make an Eventlist type Network, external ON.
3.1. Make events as many as you like.
3.2. Each Event should be:
Input: [Universum / DMX] of the DMX-Input
Action: Sub [Num] Fader
4. Map Subs in EOS Software to Fader with Sub 1 Thru {Sub-Load} (maybe use once Tab28(Faderpage) for final mapping)
5. connect external 'Desk' to Gateway(Input-Port), Master of external 'Desk' @ 100%
6. Have fun with your new, quick and dirty Faderwing.
No more Midicontroller Mapping
