3.0 has three types of showfiles: esf, esf2, esf3d.
2.9 can read showfiles of type esf and esf2.
so depending how you save it in 3.0 you will be able to read in 2.9.
in 3.0: File > SaveAs, choose the location and then choose the format from this list:
