Is there a way to invert shutter rotation and/or angle?

Sounds there is something slightly of. What kind of fixture are you using?

You could mess around in the fixture-editor and alter the dmx values.

Instead of going from 0-100 you could go from 100-0; just an example.

But sure the shutter module is in the right way in your movinglight. maybe someone made things different after maintenance...

Now that I have a chance to look into this again I will try editing ranges.  This has been consistent across 50 VL 1000 TS fixtures and 10 HES SolaFrame Theatres.

So coming back to this, I can edit the fixture profiles to act in the way that I want in the real world, but it does leave the graphics out of synch with the fixtures.  Is there a way to change the behavior of the graphic display, or does this now become a feature request?  EOS TI V 3.0.2.

Have you edited your Fixture like that?

I left the User Values as they were and in offline it looks good to me.

But to be honest, if there are 60Movinglight in YOUR rigg doing something different then in other riggs...

I would consider that something in the Movinglight is not doing as it should be.

I recall from my memory to have had a SolaFrame Theater once at my hands with EOS (but an older version) and everything was ok.

I wouldn't say that the fixture it self is 100% at false, but to me it sounds like so. 

What I have done is reordered the DMX of shutters, and reversed the range of the min and max values of the frame assembly in order to get the live output to be as I like.  None of these change affects the graphic display of the encoder screen.  My choices seem to be to live with a display that is different from output or to match the live output to the display.

the Encoder Screen depends on the Virtual Shutters. They are at the very bottom of the Fixture.

If you change the User Values here it will be seen in Tab1 (Live) and the Encoder Display.

Well, it is definitely getting better.  Frame Angles are now consistent between the real world. the encoder display and the direction of the encoder, Frame Assembly rotation is still problematic as there is no virtual attribute, so I reverted to having them move in the opposite direction from the encoder wheel.  I am only working on the SF Theatres as the VLs are finally in the process of being replaced.

Finally managed to get the Frame Assembly working in the manner that I desire. Yippee!

Hi there, we are having a similar issue. Our shutters are oriented correctly (what we see on screen is same onstage and on encoders) but the angles of all shutter on the display are opposite to encoder/what we see onstage as well as our frame assembly. 

Currently what we see onstage and what the encoders are doing make sense but not on the visual display (on Ti with SolaFrame Theatres).

Any advice on what you did to get them all showing the same information?

Hi Hilary, try reversing the virtual frame angle in the fixture profile.  Mine went from -45>45 in the original profile to 45>-45 in the modified profile.
