Almost all ETC operators I know use macro’s for updating or recording. If almost everybody needs a macro to get something done, it must be added to settings. Two of the most used macro’s
1. Define what gets stored in a preset (F-S-B being the most common here)
2. Make Update By Type a (radio) setting (just as “Absolute” or “Tracking/CueOnly” is a setting)
off course I know that I can make a template file, but in my opinion some of the things in the template are so basic, that it feels like doing ETC’s work. Also when I am at a desk without my own template I do not want to feel lost.
I wonder what others think, which custom written macros belong in settings?
