Fixture editor list-item - How to?

Hi mathilda , if you could supply your example fixture in a show file it would be easier to find what's going on.

My guess is that you need to enable Snap on the parameters that you want to see in a list. Then you need to make a range for each item individually.

It might help you to examine the Virtual Media Layer in the Fixture Editor to see how it is set up.

i had a look at the Virtual Media Layer before and also had a look at using snap. But nothing worked out for me.

As you asked, here is a showfile with 2 test fixtures i made.

Okay, thank you, now I understand the issue you are seeing.

I see the same thing on a built-in Multi-cell fixture where the cells have Snap parameters that the Master doesn't.  For instance, the ColorSource Linear 2 Cell 5ch MC has cells that have a Shutter Strobe parameter that Snaps.  When the whole channel is selected, there is just the scroll wheel / fader for Shutter Strobe.

So in current software, I don't see a way to do what you're asking,
