I'm in charge of 2 legacy xp IONs at my workplace. I completely missed the window to upgrade them to Win7 due to simply not hearing about it until it was too late. So for those of us that are in this position, do we have any options? It seems we will be stuck running v2.9.2.8 for years to come. I guess my question is since ETC discontinued the upgrade program, what are the chances of releasing the procedure on an "attempt at your own risk" basis for computer savvy individuals to do themselves? On its own, replacing a hard drive with an SSD and installing Windows 7 is a pretty routine procedure for a lot of people and I wonder if there were any specific steps truly requiring a professional at ETC to complete that would prohibit this. I'm pretty sure I already know the answer but it doesn't hurt to ask!
