Using Ion XE20 with Strand Nodes and Dimmers

Question

Hi, this seems like an odd question but this is the first time I&rsquo;ll be purchasing a new console for my venue and I want to make sure I haven&rsquo;t forgotten anything. So I&rsquo;m going to be buying a new Ion XE20, will it be ok to use it with Strand Dimmers and Nodes or do I also need additional hardware to upgrade?

I think you'll be fine with your nodes and dimmers. You can send Artnet or sACN, the node can work with both. I think the dimmer work with DMX so you can plug them into the node. The only thing is: you won't get any feedback from the nodes in the desk so if you want to overwatch and configure them you need the PSN software.
