Color pathing on rush 2 led par zooms

I am trying to move from a green color to a reddish color in the next cue but in all efforts so far of adjusting the color path I still end up with a dark middle patch. I've looked at the color pathing video but cannot find anything that so far gives a good tranisition. I'm using Nomad at the moment on v3.1 and not in the theatre. Please could anyone give me some pointers as to how I can make a smooth tranisition between these colors?

what would you like to happen between the red and the green. unless you black out first or snap the color without crossfade you will have to pass thorugh another region of the color picker. which color path mathod are you currently trying?

Thanks for your reply. I found that I still had a color path assigned to the fixtures while I was trying to alter the CMY values. Once I deleted the color path I was able to use the CMY values to go through the transition path I wanted.
