I've tried but i didnt found any answer even in the effect workbook.
Thank you
I had a quick look into the Help function in the Desk(Tab100)
Effect Editor
[..]
Attributes
- Continuous Run - the effect will keep running until there is a stop effect command. By default {Continuous Run} is disabled for all step and absolute effects. It is enabled by default for all relative effects. See Assigning a Stop Effect Command for more information.
And in the current FX Workbook (V3.0.1B - Released: 2021-07 ) on Page 8 it says:
Continuous Run: The effect will keep running until there is a stop effect command
Thanks for your answers, but i dont understand the aplication, isn't it the normal behaviour ?
When i write an FX in a cue, it don't stop until i give a stop command.
Have you got an exemple ?
thanks and merry christmas !
Continuos Run is the opposite of Repeat On Go, Continuos Run is the default.
If Repeat on Go is enabled an effect will restart with every Go, with Continuos run the effect will continue its cycle. Since Continuos Run is the default (even if it's not listed), you will only see it make a difference if you have a Repeat On Go effect and you want this behavior to be changed.
I will ask the Tech Writers to have a look at the manual, it could be that some details got mixed up, or weren't fully updated.
