Parameter missing after replacing fixture

When I program a show with a fixture with lets say, only RGB colour parameters and then I replace that fixture with a fixture that has also a CCT channel, that CCT parameter is not showing up on screen and also not recording in color palettes (even when using Make Absolute). I have to manually add that Parameter, using the Parameters key (which is not there on a program wing, so that was a bit of a search!).

Hello,

you could always use the [Data]Key for adding and "deleting" Parameters of off your current view.

For your special case. Could you giv more information on the Fixture and the EOS-version you used to redo what you had seen?

Hi, I had an SGM P-5 fixture patched in mode “10 channels RAW” and changed it to “10 channels CTC”

Dear Theatermachine,

i started with a blank show in v3.1.0 b282 and i could not reproduce what you are describing.

I was following as you wrote.

- Patched a P 5 in Mode 10

- recorded some color palettes

- changed the fixture to P 5 Mode10 CTC

- recorded some more Color Palettes

- even some with Make Absolute

- even kicked CTC out of the View by using [Data]

Everything worked fine for me.

Is it possible that you have set a Filter?

Or do you, by any chance, use a record-Macro?
