Recently a local college gave my two VariLite VL2202 moving fixtures. Eos only has the fixture profile for the VL2000, which works fine for everything except for the Lamp Controls. I have not been able to lamp off the fixtures from the console (hitting "About" and then clicking "Lamp Off"); the console sends the command, but the lamp does not react. I've been having to go to the fixture itself and using the screen on the fixture to Lamp Off.
Is there a way to modify the existing fixture profile for the VL2000 to include lamp controls for the VL2202? Or does this problem warrant a new fixture profile entirely? I have a copy of the original VL2200 series manual, so I have the DMX mapping tables. I'm hesitant to drop this in the Fixture Profile Request thread because I'm sure I'm like one of three people that still use these and don't want to tie the team up. Thanks in advance!
