CXI and Sea Changer Color matching

Hi All,

 

I am working on a show with a bunch stuff and wondering if anyone has already made matching color palettes for CXIs and Sea Changers.  When I have used the color picker I have noticed that some of the colors really dont match up... Im sure that they are the direct matches from what wybron has said the matches are...

But I thought that I would check and see if anyone had done the work already.

    Hi

    Because the Seachangers are not properly calibrated for use with the colour picker or the gel picker to get an accurate representation of a specific gel colour you need to input values using the CMYxG keys. Seachanger have available a document via their website called Seachanger to Gel DMX Settings which gives CMYxG values for the different gel manufacturers. Its a bit of a long winded way of doing it but the only way currently to get an accurate reproduction.

    Further to the previous post if you go to www.seachangeronline.com then click on the document download tab and then 'Gel Match Library' you will then be able to download the document I was referring to.
