Is there a way to have an inhibitive sub work non-proportionally, but instead just set a hard maximum on intensity?
Basically if the sub is at 50, i want it to set any channels at above 50 to 50, without affecting any channels at below 50.

(As far as i know)The inhibitive can't do such a thing. As you experienced the inhibitive is always proportional to all of its attached channels.
I would rather use
[Query]{greater_than}@ 50
to select every channel you like and than sneak it to your desired value.
Definitely a solid idea, but I’d like it to take effect while I’m running cues underneath. I suppose I could maybe run a macro with each cue that sneaks the level, or I could set curves on the channels to limit the level, I was just hoping there would be a nice easy and flexible solution in the inhibitive sub
Eos doesn't have inhibitive subs that work like this.
