Hi Stephen,
Actually, the iRFR funtionality between Eos and Congo family consoles is slightly different. When connected to Eos family consoles, the iRFR does actually have an encoder interface which allows you to set values on all parameters, including NP's. It works similar to the console encoders, with coarse & fine mode, or you can set the value exactly. (there's also a Color Picker)
See the wiki, iRFR: Getting Started With Eos/Ion/Element
I can't speak to the lack of Park and Cue List functionality, but I think those appear on many users' wish lists :)
Thanks Chris. Regarding the RFR itself, we will be adding some ML controls to the RFR in the future. We are trying to keep the functionality pretty simple, and only those things that you really need to do from a rigger's remote to keep the controls from being too layered. We have more freedom with the iRFR, as the touchscreen makes it easier.
We will be putting a park command directly in live.
The [/] key is available by double hitting the [.] button.
Hope that helps!

Hi Anne
I'm also looking forward to *some* NP control on the RFR. I'm also looking forward to some DMX devices at some point in the future (I'm considering some DMX iris units for purchase, to try to reduce some re-focus time and travelling to the ceiling.)
I'd like to be able to control a DMX iris from the RFR: open and close the iris for instance, while I'm focusing in the catwalk. ** I ** don't need full ML control, but if I need to send a DMX signal to a conventional instrument's accessory, that would be most helpful. (iris, gobo rotator, scroller)
Thanks.
pan tilt would be nice too
