Help getting Artnet working from Nomad Macbook via Apple USB - UTP

Anyone who could help me getting Artnet working from Nomad on Macbook pro. Sending via Apple adapter Usb to ethernet, should this work? Next to me a Grandma desk, running artnet on 2.9.100.1 and subnet 255.0.0.0 When i put this IP into system settings on the macbook, Nomad connects to this also. After start up nomad: all the moving lights + Leds come on but i have no control at all. Tried different Artnet settings in the shell also. thanks

    Hello there,

    you have to have not the same IP Address as the Desk next to you.

    Every user in the network have to have its own IP Address.

    And what are the Settings of the node you try to connect to?

    You need to match them. (Subnet, Universe Start)

    Try also to disconnect the MA-Desk from the network to see if there is no other signal on the network if you have controll.

    Maybe the MA Desk and you are fighting over who will have the controll.
