Hazer on a Element

Hi All

I'm retired old school here. My lighting experience was on an ETC Insight from the '80s. Now I 'm volunteering at a small community theatre. We have an Element 2 console and I'm trying to patch a Chauvet Hurricane Haze 1 DX into the system. I've followed all the steps in the manual for the hazer and the console and I'm sure I'm missing one step.I just don't know what it is.

Anyone? Bueller?

Unlike all other fixtures I would recon to patch a hazer as dimmer channels. Usually it’s two channels. Pump and fan.

I second patching a hazer as straight dimmer channel. All the hazer fixture profiles I've used have the console treat the pump, fan, and or on/off as non-intensity parameters. So a) they don't show up in active channel flexi even when they're on and b) won't shut off with "Go to Cue: 0".
