I have a 2 year old Element 2 with a flickering issue, but it's selective.
I am outputting from DMX OUT 1-3, separated by universe (1 on 1 and such). OUT 1 is connected to a 24 Rack of sensor dimmers...rock solid. Output 2 and 3 are connected to overstage LEDs and some packs.
The Packs are well below there individual load limit, both single channel and total pack. The fixtures connected to these packs are all flickering. One pack is fed from OUT 2 and flickers slower than the pack on OUT 3.
I have swapped the line from OUT 3 to OUT 1 and had the same flicker.
I have swapped the pack for a known working pack, same flicker.
Traded cable, made sure the power was run to the same ground, same flicker. Finally swapped for my Ion and it's running great in the original config (left the opto in place for the extra Line), no flicker.
I suspect that the console has a slight flutter in the DMX output card, but I was hoping that the essentially new console (bear in mind the we took delivery of it during the pandemic) isn't already in need of a non-warranty repair.
