GM-excluded sub down does not fade if GM limits cue output

I have GM-excluded sub with dimmers 1 thru 10 at full and a downtime of 0.5s. In cue 1/1 all fixtures are at 100, but the output of that cue is limited by a GM to 50%. triggering the sub and letting go of it does not use the fade time to go to 50% again.
