Temporary (Selection) Capture Disable

Hi all,

Is there a way to disable Temporary (Selection) Capture? Not sure if this is a relatively new feature of EOS, at any rate I don't recall it having behaved like this in the past, but when I have manual values on the command line, hitting 'GO' does not affect those channels.

A) Is this a recent change to the software?

B) Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

A) no, that's been like this for a very long time, maybe since the beginning of Eos software.

B) I'm not aware of any way (other than de-selecting, and/or getting rid of manual values).

Thanks for your response. This seems like it would be a fairly easy thing to toggle in user or system settings. For users who do a lot of busking and/or live tweaking, it would be a valuable way to save additional keystrokes. Has anyone found a workaround?

Shift+Sneak might be what you're looking for:
