unable to make macro gotoQ {scene} work properly

syntax should be "go_to_cue softkey_2"

that's the syntax i used, {scene} is softkey 2. But same macro worked perfectly in py nomad. So i guess problem comes more from my device thant from my macro. but thanks.

You need to use the actual kword "Softkey_2" ,  "go_to_cue scene" would never worked.

You mean "go_to_cue scenes"  macro edit keyword has the word scene, scenes you have to use learn fuction or the "Softkey_2" from magic sheet, and also add a macro wait in between might help too.

i actually used the learn function and the real softkey 2. My mistake, it is "scenes " and not "scene" indeed. i ´m not sure i get what you suggest.

Hey, I'm just trying to help, you provided wrong information. Macro word scenes and scene in this senario is completely different,  if you're not sure always use "Softkey_x" which you can find in magic sheet, you're able to use learn function to record it.
