Synchronization Failed between Nomad Client and Nomad Primary

Hello all,

I am currently working with a system that has a Nomad on a laptop as it's primary console.  Recently I brought in my personal laptop with Nomad and connected it successfully as a client over the wifi.

However about two days ago when I try to connect with my personal Nomad, it connects to the primary Nomad but then fails to synchronize.  I've checked and both the primary and the client Nomad are running on 3.1.2, with fixture library 3.1.1.15.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

  • WiFi is not supported for connecting a Client or Backup because it's extremely variable.

While it will often work, the available bandwidth and latency varies radically from moment to moment so it is sadly fairly common for a WiFi network to have enough bandwidth and fast enough latency to work one day, then be unable to connect a few hours later due to changes outside of your control.

    Use wired ethernet whenever possible.
